Biography

Elio Geusa, the founder of AYA Healing Retreats, brings over thirteen years of experience as a qualified Social Worker, deeply involved in international humanitarian projects that support individuals with mental health issues and refugee populations across Asia, Europe, and Australia. Driven by his belief in transformative, loving action, Elio has been devoted to the path of plant medicine and Ayahuasca since 2009. His extensive training in Peru includes studying under the revered Mahua family and engaging in numerous Master Plant Dietas with respected curanderos of the Peruvian Amazon. This profound engagement with sacred plant medicines has enabled Elio to experience significant personal healing and growth. Motivated by these experiences, he established AYA Healing Retreats to share the healing potentials of sacred plant medicines and the ancient wisdom of Amazonian indigenous traditions. His work exemplifies a commitment to fostering deep healing and growth through traditional and spiritual practices, aiming to enrich lives and expand understanding of these ancient pathways. Elio’s dedication is a testament to his passion for healing and service.
